Select-n-date: Create Calendar Events Easily
Select-n-date is a free Chrome add-on developed by matthias.klan. This add-on falls under the Browsers category and specifically the Add-ons & Tools subcategory. Select-n-date allows users to create new calendar events by selecting a date or a title from a website.
To create a new calendar event, simply select the desired text or date on a webpage, right-click to open the context menu, and click on "create a new calendar entry". If a date is selected, the add-on will attempt to parse it and create a new event on that date. If a title is selected instead, a new event will be created with the selected text as the title.
It is important to note that Select-n-date uses the US date format of Month/Day/Year. Additionally, there is a known bug where activating incognito mode can cause the add-on to stop working, requiring a reinstallation. However, this should not be a concern for regular browsing activities.
